Erie Insurance Scholarship Program provides scholarship support to college sophomore and juniors in their quest for a college education.

Applicants for the Erie Insurance Scholarship Program must be:

- African American or other underrepresented minority;

- College sophomore or junior enrolled fulltime at a UNCF member Institution located in a state in which Grantor operates:

(I) North Carolina {Bennett College, Johnson C. Smith University, Livingstone  College,  Saint Augustine's  College and  Shaw  University);

(li)  Ohio (Wilberforce University);

(Iii) Tennessee: {Fisk University, Lane College and LeMoyne-Owen College); or

(iv) Virginia: Virginia Union University.

- Be a permanent resident of one of the following states: the District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, or West Virginia.

- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better on a scale of 4;

- Complete FAFSA and have a demonstrated unmet, as verified by the financial aid office;

- Possess a track record of campus leadership and community service as represented in the student's activities list.

 

Students must submit an online application for the Program, complete with a letter of recommendation, and a current transcript.  All application materials must be received by the applicable deadline.
